Is Amazing Spider-Man better than Raimi’s first two installments?

While Marc Webb’s Amazing Spider-Man is a good, good film, aided by charismatic leads, Andrew Garfield and Emma Stone , Raimi’s Spider-Man and Spider-Man 2 were definitely better. Better written, better characters, more grounded story. Raimi’s were actually tough to follow; that Webb is able to puller closer is already an achievement. Looking forward to the next installment and here is hoping that Raimi’s failure in his final installment will be Webb’s crowning glory.
